This offense involved her failing to pay rent and utilities on a residential
rental through West USA Realty. Despite the nature of this offense, a prison term appears
premature at this juncture and probation will be recommended. An immediate period of
incarceration will not be recommended because her four months of presentence incarceration
appears sufficient as a punitive sanction.
Strobel was on a mission to destroy Rosier, the mother of their son, for whom he had the nothing but malice and vengeance for.
While Gail languished in Maricopa County jail-- without any available resources-- including the contact information of newly acquired friends and acquaintances in Arizona who might have been able to come to her assistance, her impounded cell phone was the only source of retrieving that information to contacting those people.
She neither had the requisite $10,000 funds for bail, nor the funds or sponsors to receive any real criminal defense attorney. The only legal resource available to her -- was a public defender.
In the initial bail hearing conducted from jail-- the fix was in with the Maricopa County Sheriff's department. Although Gail's daughter was in camp that day she was arrested by the Scottsdale PD, and she was the plaintiff in several multi-million dollar probate cases in the county, the prosecutor represented she was a "flight risk", and she was denied OR (own-recognizance) bail.
Strobel had invaded her life, and involved himself in all her business... including her arrest and incarceration
In Strobel campaign to destroy her, he even did things that were contrary to his own self interest, like collaborating with Jake Rosier, Gail's stepson and nemesis (along side of Strobel), who was the opposing party in the multiple probate actions (see the Becker & House abstract).
Also, where Gail would have gladly contributed her share of Connor's college expenses (and then some) if and when she prevailed in gaining access to her half of the spousal estate, or minimally upon receiving the $300,000 she was owed as guaranteed by the prenuptial agreement with Peter. However Strobel was ultimately disappointed when the estate was finally settled, and there was little left to distribute to her, and her legal representative, Becker & House. Whatever paltry amount was left, after their legal fees (about $30,000) was grabbed by Strobel-- leaving Gail with nothing after 6 years on marriage, other than her fond memories of a loving relationship. Where Strobel is a cheap, petty, angry, and vindictive person, Gail is the opposite-- generous (to a fault) and a magnanimous and caring person. As typical with a certain pathology, Strobel's inherent traits are the same that he accuses his perceived enemies of... like our current state of politics.
The proof is in the pudding-- Strobel's meddling in Gail's life in his obstinate mission to destroy her, primarily because of his resentment that she married an affluent doctor with a sizable 3 acre estate in Southborough Mass. and they were happy together had a great life, and bought him lots of clothes, toys electronics... all of which Connor was forbidden to bring home after his visitation. Where Strobel was a petty, bitter and angry seeking retribution, Gail is the total opposite-- she does not hold a grudge
unsolicited ex-parte fax communication directly to the sentencing judge, who took Strobel's despicable, petty, and intentionally prejudicial false statements-- that would be disprovable, if one were not a incommunicado prisoner isolated from the world in cell in Maricopa county jail, and if the allegations were provided to Gail's public defender before the plea bargain sentencing, that virtually anyone would agree to just to get out of that hell-hole.
