Gail was arrested by Scottsdale Police on March 6, 2009, after she had dropped her daughter Logan off to day camp, and was on her way to yoga class in North Scottsdale. This was the very same yoga class where she had been targeted and engaged several months earlier by a professional crime ring (actually a husband, wife, and son family) of con-artists and swindlers.
Gail was an easy mark to target, and easily stood out as an attractive grieving and affluent widow living in a mansion in North Scottsdale, that was lost in the fog of widowhood. The truth was more complex and convoluted, and set-off a chain of events which changed the course of her life-- to which she is still suffering to this very day.
Jacob Rosier, "Liz" Rosier, and attorney John Pattullo [now disbarred]all conspired to bar Gail from any resources.

On Gail's release from prison on February 9th, 2010, she had nothing, no home, no assets, no car, and no resources-- other that the sympathetic generosity of a few friends to provide a temporary place for her to stay. She had borrowed a bicycle (a Schwinn-- which she still has). She was on parole, and subject to all the indignities
Both Strobel and Shanelaris made wild, disingenuous and unsubstantiated claims and allegations... all of which were intended to disparage, denigrate, impugn, defame, and prejudice her to the NH court, trying to extract $10,000 a month from her while she was commuting to work on a bicycle, and sleeping on a friends couch. She was on a sinking ship in search of a lifejacket.
The only glimmer on the horizon was the fact that prior to her unfortunate arrest by Scottsdale Police, the con-artist, John Caruso, who presented herself as her savior who took control of everything in her life-- including her credit cards and life insurance proceeds (which Shanelaris and Strobel testified in 3-22-10 the court that she squandered without paying any child support), smelled opportunity with the Gail's late husband's estate fiasco.
It was John Caruso who pitched the top Phoenix law firm of Fennemore Craig, and convinced one of their top litigators, Julio Zapata, to represent Gail on contingency in the complex probate matter. This happened shortly before Caruso's and Gail's arrest

Unfortunately, besides being deprived from her rightful marital estate by her avaricious step-children, Gail was also victimized by the con-artist, John Albert Caruso, who swindled everything else she had to her name.
There was a reason she could not participate in the March 11th 2009 hearing before Judge Forrest to defend herself... she was held financial hostage by the criminal Caruso... she was by legal definition: trafficked
